Do you remember? The thought of coming home to a jam drop?! It was one of those simple pleasures! These thermomix jam drops are so simple to make and so very delicious! It might be best to make a double batch as there may not be many left for those lunch boxes or after school treats!

Ingredients
- 90g raw sugar
- 85g butter, cubed, softened
- 1 egg
- ½ teaspoon ThermoFun Vanilla Bean Paste
- 270g self raising flour
- pinch of salt
- ½ cup of jam
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
- Place sugar into TM bowl and mill 3 sec / speed 9.
- Add butter and mix 15 sec / speed 4.
- Add egg and vanilla and mix 10 sec / speed 5. Scrape down.
- Add flour and salt and mix 10 sec / speed 5.
- Roll dough into approx. 24 small balls. Place onto baking trays and flatten slightly. Allow space for spreading.
- Using your thumb or floured handle-end of a wooden spoon, make a hollow in each and half-fill with jam.
- Bake 10-12 mins or until lightly golden. Allow to cool on trays.
- Keep in an airtight container up to 1 week.
