Mixed Berry Chia Jam - Week 20, 2016

    Jump to recipe

Traditional Jam like these recipes - Berry Cherry Jam, Monkey Jam, Bacon Jam & Tomato Jam can take some extra time or even be a little hit and miss with your fruit, but this thermomix Mixed Berry Chia Jam is so quick, easy and tastes amazing!

This berry jam doesn't require any cooking, processed sugars or canning.  Leave it in the fridge for a couple hours and it will set beautifully.  Even though it's called a jam it is so versatile.

This can be so handy to whip up and have on hand; to top a dessert treat, stirred through yoghurt, or served with pancakes. When in season fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries work beautifully, but defrosted frozen ones work perfectly too.  For those following LCHF, leave the sweetener out all together or use a little of your usual replacement sweetener.

Dear Funkies, I made this jam . I made it only from fresh strawberries because I bought a bulk last Saturday on our local market. My husbands is a diabetic and he is able to eat it as well because no sugar or added stuff in it. The taste is very good. I used one tablespoon of honey. So it is not s sweet. Thanks a lot for this recipe. Anna ???
