
A delicious refreshing cold sauce served with grilled hamburgers or as a dip. My cevapcici sausages and zucchini & feta fritters also are fabulous served with this. This thermomix tzatziki is so simple to make that you'll never buy it again.
Serving Size
approx. 450g
Ingredients
- 150g cucumber (approx. half a continental cucumber), quartered
- 1 garlic clove, peeled
- 300g thick, Greek yoghurt
- 10g olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- dill, ½ tablespoon fresh chopped or ½ teaspoon dried
- pinch of salt and pepper
Instructions
- Place cucumber into TM bowl and chop 3 sec / speed 5.
- Place cucumber into simmering basket over sink/bowl and squeeze out as much liquid as possible (use spatula / hands / paper towel as required). Allow cucumber to keep draining in basket.
- Place garlic into TM bowl and chop 3 sec / speed 8.
- Scrape down. Add remaining ingredients (including cucumber) and mix 5 sec / speed 3 / Reverse.
- Pour into a serving container and place into the refrigerator to allow flavours to develop.
