Hi, just popped in to tell you about a handy hint I have discovered.
After making greasy or oily things like butter or choc ganache in Thermie, I wash with hot soapy water, bowl, mc and lid, then I now have straight white vinegar in a spray bottle which I spray over all the parts and wipe over with a paper towel. This eliminates the need to vinegar wash if I decide to make a pave on the spur of the moment. It also eliminates odors etc from previous dishes that use garlic etc.
It is easy to get into the habit of doing the vinegar clean when it is kept in a spray bottle under the sink and ready to go, just like your dish detergent is.
Thanks for all your wonderful work and dedication.

What a great hint Jenny, Would you mind if I published that in the hints and tips section? Also I hope that when you've made your chocolate ganche, you pop a glass of milk in the thermomix to help clean the chocolate out :) by making a Chocolate Milk :) before washing that is...
