    Gin Jam Cocktail - Bonus 2017

    As our veteran funkies know I like to start the year with a cocktail and see the year out with a cocktail!  So not to break tradition .... here is your thermomix gin jam cocktail!  Enjoy!  :)

    I have to say that I am super pleased to put 2017 behind me and celebrate a great 2018!  Do you have a new year tradition?

    This recipe is a very refreshing drink on a hot day!  I’ve used my lovely ThermoFun Christmas Jam with strawberry and cranberries for this cocktail but please feel free to experiment with your own favourite.  The ThermoFun Berry Cherry Jam would be lovely too!

    Thermomix-Gin-Jam-Cocktail

    Ingredients

    • 250g ice cubes
    • 120g gin
    • 70g lemon juice
    • 5 teaspoon Strawberry & Cranberry Christmas Jam

    Instructions

    1. Place ice into TM bowl and crush 5 sec / speed 8.
    2. Divide ice between 2 tall glasses to the rim. Leave approx. 50g ice in the TM bowl.
    3. Add gin, lemon juice and jam and mix 10 sec / speed 7.
    4. Pour on top of the crushed ice and serve.
