I love summer time with lots of BBQ's. This marinade for prawns is to die for! I was given the recipe originally from very good friends of ours Tony and Lisa and we often make it when we get together. Enjoy with a fresh green salad or they are just perfect for a 'finger food' appetiser when entertaining.
Ingredients
- 6 garlic cloves peeled
- 80g marmalade
- 100g lime juice
- 1 handful fresh coriander
- 50g olive oil
- 20g soy sauce
- 1kg large green prawns
Instructions
- Place garlic cloves in TM bowl and chop 8 sec / speed 10.
- Add and blend marmalade, lime juice, coriander, olive oil and soy sauce 5 sec / speed 6.
- Peel prawns and allow to marinate for an hour.
- Cook prawns on BBQ 4-5 mins.

This marinade is going to be my new go to for BBQ prawns. It was so delicious and a real hit with my family. I put them on skewers too as it was easier for hubby to turn them over on the grill.
