
What do you make when you have a can of tuna and some avocado? You make creamy tuna and avocado pasta!
YUM! So versatile and such beautifully light and refreshing flavours!
Serving Size
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 400g pasta, penne
- 4 spring onions, quartered
- handful fresh parsley
- 10g olive oil
- 20g TM vegetable stock concentrate
- 100g white wine
- 250g thickened cream
- 425g can tuna, drained
- 1 avocado, peeled and sliced
- black pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
- To cook pasta in your ThermoServer Click Here.
While your pasta is cooking, continue on to make your sauce. - Set aside a small amount of spring onion, parsley and avocado for garnish.
- Place spring onions, parsley and oil into TM bowl and chop 3 sec / speed 8.
- Scrape down and sauté 3 mins / Varoma / speed 1 / MC off.
- Add stock and wine and cook 5 mins / Varoma / speed 1 / MC off.
- Add cream, tuna and avocado and cook 5 mins / 100°C / speed soft / Reverse.
- Serve creamy sauce over pasta. Season with pepper.
Notes
This recipe also works well with salmon or cooked shredded chicken

Any suggestions on substitute for white wine? I'd be cooking it to eat with my 17 month old and don't want to use wine in recipes. Will water or stock be fine?
