    Protein Slice - KIDtastic Friday

    Jump to recipe

It's Friday again and time to let the kids run wild with the thermomix (age and ability permitting) cooking up this amazing thermomix protein slice!  Simple whole food ingredients that make a delicious slice that everyone will love.

I have found this slice to be amazing for Steve to take in his lunchbox to work, Diana when she has been at uni & even John has taken some home to have for his lunchbox for uni.  Leaving me with ....... having to make more!!!!!

I would suggest for those that follow a paleo style of eating this would be a great lunchbox/weekend snack and perfect for those times you get caught out having to attend a pot luck or playdate etc.  Everyone has loved eating this slice when it's been in the fridge.

Leanne it will be perfect once it's been in the fridge for awhile. I also store it in the fridge.

I made this without the water and coconut oil which seemed a little crumbly until pressed into tin , I then decided to re-do adding water omitting the oil but everyone loved the one using just the 3 ingredients. You could always try adjusting ratio of liquids to suit :-).
