Quick Dinners & multiple uses for an ingredient - meals don't get any easy! This thermomix Curried Passata Sausage recipe is only 4 ingredients but the flavour that is packed into this meal makes it a family winner!
If you don't want to serve with pasta you could do mash or even rice. All of them would be yummy! I was just using the last of the pasta when I made this one.
I have to admit that I am not always a big fan of sausages but I do enjoy curried sausages so when I made this with only 4 ingredients you know what happened to the other recipe.....
This is a great meal to make when making passata as well. Double up your sausages and you have a meal for the night and one for the freezer for those nights when you are really short on time :D. Pop the defrosted sausages and passata in the bowl - heat and then stir through your sour cream and serve!
If you're needing to green up the dish you can always add some fresh/frozen veggies too.

Ingredients
- 2 level tablespoon ThermoFun Curry Blend
- 1000g boiling water from kettle
- 500g sausages
- 300g pasta, spiral
- 600g (half batch) ThermoFun Passata
- 40g sour cream
Instructions
- Make ThermoFun curry blend and set aside.
No need to wash TM bowl. - Pour boiling water into TM bowl and place sausages onto Varoma (tray and deep dish). Place assembled Varoma on top of TM lid and cook 15 mins / Varoma / speed 1.
- While sausages are cooking cook pasta in your ThermoServer.
- Remove Varoma and set aside for sausages to cool slightly. Discard water.
- Place Passata into TM bowl and reheat. NB: If cooking Passata see note below.
- Remove and discard skins from sausages and slice into rings.
- Add sausages, curry blend and sour cream and with aid of spatula combine well.
- Cook 5 mins / 100°C / speed 1 / Reverse.
- Serve over pasta.
Notes
You can cook passata and steam sausages simultaneously.
At method 2, instead of boiling water, make passata and in the last 15 mins place a baking paper 'bowl' on Varoma tray (by twisting up the paper corners) and place sausages on top to steam. Then take out 600g of passata ready for another meal.

Jenny says
I made the passata ready for when hubby cane home to cook the sausages. He isn't a huge curry fan so halved it & still thinks it was plenty. He said it was an easy recipe. He always cooks the pasta in the thermoserver like I showed him from here. He thinks that's so easy. Lol! So another winner here. Awesome.
