    ThermoFun - "No Wheat" Banana Bread Recipe

    We are a family here of banana bread and banana cake lovers! Especially my daughter! She came home one day with a recipe from a school friend asking me to make it. I couldn’t wait to get cracking with it and see how it went. Well it didn’t last long!!!! Oh is there anything better than eating banana bread straight out of the oven?!!

    ThermoFun – “No Wheat” Banana Bread Recipe

    Ingredients

    • 200g blanched almonds
    • 3 bananas, broken into chunks
    • 3 eggs
    • ½ tablespoon ThermoFun Vanilla Bean Paste
    • 10g raw honey
    • 60g coconut oil
    • ½ teaspoon sea salt
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a loaf tin.
    2. Place almonds into TM bowl and mill 5 sec / speed 10. Set aside.
    3. Place bananas, eggs, vanilla, honey and coconut oil into TM bowl and mix 1 sec / Turbo. Scrape down and repeat.
    4. Add almond flour, salt and baking powder and mix 1 sec / Turbo. Scrape down and repeat.
    5. Pour batter into loaf tin and bake 180°C for 45 mins.

      2 month old thimo is getting fixed so when it returns be good Wheat &dairy intolerant so this is looking great

      Made this yesterday for the first time & it went down a treat, found it very moist though.. Not sure if I did something wrong or if it's supposed to be like that ??? so I have made another... It's in the oven as I type, beautiful with butter

        Hi Michelle, sometimes it can be the bananas or the almond meal. Hope this one works out better for you. I have found toasting it the next day with some butter a VERY nice treat though :)
