    KIDtastic Friday - Creamy French Onion Dip - ThermoFun

    Now it doesn't get much better than 3 ingredients, quick enough to whip up when you're rushing out the door or pack in the lunch boxes.  Thermomix Creamy French Onion Dip is all that it says.  A french onion dip with that beautiful creamy texture that has you reaching for more crackers!  Speaking of crackers - Check out these wonderful crackers to have with your dip.  ThermoFun Crackers

    Everyone who has tested this recipe for me, has said the kids think it's awesome & have been wanting to make more and more for their lunches.  Me I like it on a Friday afternoon with a glass of wine, but I'm no 10 year old!   :)

    I recommend making my ThermoFun French Onion Soup Mix - seriously so much more tastier than the store bought!

    Thermomix Creamy French Onion Dip

    Ingredients

    • 125g cream cheese, room temp
    • 125g sour cream
    • 4 teaspoon Thermofun French Onion Soup Mix

    Instructions

    1. Place all ingredients into TM bowl and mix 10 sec / speed 4. Scrape down and repeat.
    2. Allow dip to rest in fridge minimum 2 hours to allow flavours to develop.

          A long time ago, when I was on a dieting program, we used to whip ricotta with lemon juice (I think) to make a mock sour cream that worked well for dips. If you added vanilla instead of the lemon juice, it became a sweet cream topping.
