ThermoFun - French Onion Soup Mix Recipe

    Jump to recipe

    FrenchOnionMix

I have often been asked for a recipe for the French Onion Soup packet mix – as many people want to avoid all the additives in the packet mix. As a result of research on Google, I found a few recipes and then had a play with each of them and combined parts of them into one.

Obviously no Thermomix is required to make this mix – but it is very handy to have a Thermomix to cook or prepare the recipes we love that do contain the packet mix.

Hi Jenna, it is better in my opinion with ThermoFun Curry Blend. Make a quadruple batch and you will never go back to store bought curry powder again! :) Lots of my recipes to use it in too!

Would you consider the amount in this recipe equal to one packet of the pre-made mix?

Hi Kirsty - yes I would consider it equivalent to one packet of pre-made mix. :)
