Halloween is tomorrow so I was looking to do something pumpkin orientated for Thirsty Thursday. Only trouble is I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin!!! So that really did narrow my choices down quite considerably! Lol!
After doing a little searching on the internet I stumbled across a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Well that did get me intrigued!! Even more intrigued to discover it didn’t actually have any pumpkin in it! You beauty!! :) It consisted of a pumpkin spice mix that gets used in pumpkin pies! Well you learn something every day!!
I had just made a batch of caramel in my Thermomix (recipe to be divulged very soon!) and thought to use the tiny bit of caramel left in the bowl and around the blades into a latte with adding the pumpkin spice mix and milk! It was really yummy! ☺
The spice mix makes 7 teaspoon in total and I used ½ teaspoon for one latte, so keep the remaining in an air tight container or spice jar and you can have a Pumpkin Spice Latte whenever you want! Ideal to make just after melting chocolate or making caramel in your thermomix bowl!
Ingredients
Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix
- 1 teaspoon cardamom, ground
- 1 teaspoon allspice, ground

Mix spices together in a small bowl.
