A refreshing dip to have on a weekend afternoon with a glass of wine or other cool drink. It takes all of 20 seconds to make! :)
Ingredients
- 1 large mango, peeled and deseeded
- 30g lime juice (approx. 2 limes)
- 15g sweet chilli sauce
- ½ small red onion, peeled
- 250g cream cheese
- Lebanese bread
Instructions
- Place mango, lime juice, sweet chilli sauce, onion and cream cheese into TM bowl and mix 10 sec / speed 8. Scrape down and repeat.
- To make pita chips, break apart the Lebanese bread into pieces and place onto a baking tray. Place tray in a preheated oven 180°C for 5 mins then turn pieces over and return to oven for another 5 mins.
- Serve dip chilled with pita chips.

Oh we've made this a few time now and keep getting rave reviews!! Thank You!! So quick and easy and tastes divine. I do admit we cheat though...we use lebanese bread...break it up, pop it on a dinner plate and pop it in the microwave no high for 1 min...toss it around...if it's not crunchy enough...pop back in for 30secs...repeat til it's to right crunchiness. Times differ for different wattages of microwaves...but best to toss them anyways so it cooks evenly without soggy bits. You can also jazz em up with a drizzle/dust of things like lemon, lime, salt, curry blend, paprika, etc for extra flavour. Oh and hubby told me few days later there was some left from one function...needless to say I took care of that problem promptly ;-)
