Recently I posted to our Facebook page that we are a part of a Fruit & Vegetable Co-Op of 8 families all of which live in our suburb. For $40 we get all of the fruit & vegetables you see above every fortnight. We go to the Flemington Markets in Sydney at 5.00am on a Saturday morning. I'm not much of a morning person - actually I'm not a morning person at all - so I usually dread it when it is my turn!! However, once we are back home and have unpacked the fruit and veg for the other 7 families to come and pick up it is always worth the effort at the end of the day!
Being a part of a co-op has been so beneficial - and the responses that I got from the post on Facebook made me think about putting out a call for other co-ops in Australia. Buying this way is truly a money saver!
So here is the list that has been compiled - If you have a co-op that may be looking for more members, please let us know and we can update the file. I have modified the email addresses slightly to avoid the addresses being used for spam. To send an email to the address, replace (at) with the @ sign in the email addresses.

Although living pat time in Sydney, we have a farm near Holbrook NSW, where we use compost and minerals to provide organic nutrients to our soil. We grow grass fed beef and lamb, and for the last four years have been growing organic garlic. The flavour of the garlic, by growing it in nutrient rich soils is amazing. This years crop is about to be harvested and ready to sell in a few weeks time. Thought you or your health seeking followers might like to know where to buy real garlic with flavour. Regards Wendy
