Sugar or simple syrup is used in many cocktails and is great to have on hand. It's quick and easy to make and is just a matter of dissolving the sugar in the water so that you don't have crunchy granules of sugar in your cocktails. It keeps refrigerated for up to 6 months.
Tomorrow is Thirsty Thursday so I will be sharing with you a cocktail recipe that will require this sugar syrup. :)

This might be a dumb question but if you trippled the recipe do you triple the time cooking?

Hi Bec, apologies for my delay in replying. For this particular recipe I would start of with boiling water from the kettle and then the suggested time would be enough. You're really just dissolving the sugar. Enjoy many cocktails! lol :)
